now this page is looking pretty crappy. I dont know what I'm trying to do ... I need to change more stuff to make this page at least not harmful to look at ... I would like to start writing here again but I dont want to be listed on the antville top page. I dont want to make my page not public though :( mumbing mumbling
I downloaded netscape 7.0 a few days ago, and with that browser, this page looks totally messed up! argh. dissapointing... I use only MSIE usually, so, I did not know that. that's sad. also, I chose "online in weblog" for the last three entries but they do not appear on the homepage but just in the topic page. why is that? ???
yeaaah I changed this page's design. the structure is the same as default antville design. But it is pretty dark..... I wonder if this design really makes it difficult to read the words... hmm.. I hope it is not too annoying. I like the background image a lot, so I wanted to use them. I put a small box that shows dates of 5 different calenders. I think it is really cool. I always wanted to know an easy way to see Islam calender. But that script makes this page loads slooow. Maybe I'll remove it soon.. I get tired of things quickly. ahh It's already 3:30 am, too late. got to go to bed!
I found a couple of programs that create online (or offline) photo albums very easily. JAlbum and web album generator. They are not online album hosting services. they are just software. Both of them are pretty cool. JAlbum has a feature that let you create your own "skin" just like antville. making a web page with many thumbnails were a pain, but with those programs, it would be easier. well, I can just use antville to make an photo album. maybe I will really do that.... no one is reading my antville page anyway... But I made a lot of effort to create my own design. I like it a lot. but this design is not for photos. I want a photo journal about my cat (he is on my lap now. so cute!). I wonder if I should borrow another antville page. I would feel kind of bad for people who are managing antville because I would be wasting their web space. but... I dont have knowledge to run helma on another server. also I like my page to be listed on the top page of antville. hmm.. maybe I will really change this design so it would be like a photo album, or get another antville page. hmmm I guess that's a good idea ...!
I was surprised to see how my list of "recently modified" was aligned to left. I changed it so it is aligned to right. it happed because of the major update of antville. also... "image pool" is now "images" and "goodie pool" is "files." it seems like there are many more changes that I havent found out yet. I liked the words "image pool" and "goodie pool." well I guess I can still change the names back to them. hmm antville is evolving constantly... so exciting!! people who are making this project is so talented. I have been very impressed!
I was looking at other antville pages ( I have no idea what they say for most of the people who use antville write in german, but even so, it is very interesting to see their layout and photos, etc...), and discovered that there are pages of "" and "" for each weblog. that's so cool! i did not know that! why aren't they in the default menu bar??? well, not many people look at my weblog (only for now, I hope...) , so, the "referrers" and "most read pages" are pretty boring so far... so i have not put them in the menu bar but maybe i will in the future.
yay!! now this page looks kind of cute, isnt it?? yesterday I was going on and on about the color of the bookcover. today I corrected it using style sheets. at first, I wrote <td bgcolor="#rrggbb">. but I could not see the color. then I put a stylesheet tag instead, and then worked. but the first method worked on ohter people's computer.... I dont understand! but it's ok,,, I dont know why, but it looks fine now anyway!
