Colin and I sold our old books to Powell’s and old clothes to Buffalo Exchange, and got more than $110 in total!! yeah! We are moving to New Mexico in 5 days, and we are planning to put all of our stuff in a car, so, we have to get rid of tons of things.

I got a new counter for my antville page yesterday from jellycounter.com. This is the best counter/site tacking service I have found so far!! it is free, and the counter can be in any style- any image, any fonts you want, and even invisible. I had thought you have to pay money to get an invisible site tracking until yesterday. I’m so happy about it! right now, my counter is invisible, but I’ll try to find nice graphics later.

other site tracking services I have used are sitemeter and webcounter and addfreestats. I like sitemeter a lot. it is from some north european country that I forgot. the banner is tiny and does not look like a counter or an advertisement. the statistics are in detail, but it does not count unique visitors. webcounter is from Bulgaria and the banner is also pretty small and cute, but the statistics pages are kind of confusing. addfreestats has ugly banners that change automatically. the statistics pages have pop up banners (I hate pop up banners.) but it tracks lots of information.

It seems my page loads a little slower after I put jellycounter. has anyone noticed it? other than that, I am totally satisfied with it. very nice.

very cool design! I tried to learn russian last year but dropped the class after 3 days. I dont drink much but I think it is stupid that usa has a very strict prohibition of alcohol for people under 21. in japan and in europe, practically anyone can buy and drink alcohol freely but dont have as many problems related to alcohol as usa.

I changed the design of my other journal, too, today. now it looks almost exactly like this page!! they are like twins. the biggest difference is that that one is written in japanese. the system I use for my japaese journal is provided by "my press." it is not as cool as antville, but the pages are customizable, and there are no ads on the pages, so, it's good enough.

antville has many many more options to customize though! it is very impressive! for example, on "my press," you have to show at least 3 stories on one page. here at antville, you dont have to show more than one if you dont want to. with this design, one story on one page is ideal.

I have been listening to the new album of Jon Spencer Blues Explosion a lot since last week. they sound a little silly, (almost) only things that they say in their songs are like "rock'n'roll baby! let's go! come on mama! get down baby!" and some words without any meanings. I think it is cool because most other alternative rock bands have complicated lyrics, some bands even sing about politics. that's fine, but it is nice to listen to classic rock'n'roll that does not make you think too much.

today I got a book about francie. she is a Barbie doll's cousin from the 60’s~70’s . I love 60’s and 70’s designs very much. groovy! Looking at the pictures in the book, I started feeling like making clothes for dolls again. I used to do it when I was in the 6th grade. I dont have Francie or Barbie, but I have Jennie. she is a popular doll in japan. she is supposed to be American from L.A, though. her face is wider and her body is fatter than Barbie. also, colin and I went to Shlotzsky’s. its name is not that funny, but it is true that its sandwiches are serious ones!! they are delicious!

I have been drawing on my computer a lot recently. it's for my new site. unlike the one I already have (suteki places in portland), my new site will be pretty personal. I think I tried too hard to get attention from other people on my site. I found out other people are interested in different things from what I am interested in. there are very few people who like, or even notice the same thing. well anyway, my new site will be very cute! at least for me, it would look cute.

I drew two windows with different scenery today. sunset and night forest. I want to make 10 more eventually.
